Sj. G.S. Jena is a pioneer in the field of trade union movement in India. By dint of his hard labour ,dedication & clear vision ,Sj. Jena occupies a premier place among the trade union leadership in india. Sj.Jena is the founder of All India Food Corporation of India workers union, founder president of Paradeep Port & Dock Mazdoor Union,all India Food & Allied Workers Union & All India Petroleum Products Handling & Carrier Employees Union. He is also the founder chairman of FCI workers Co-op. Credit Society Ltd. & Ghanashyam Hemalata Vidyamandir Society,the mother of all its educational institutions. Sj.Jena ,because of his close association with the working class people,could visualize that lack of proper education is the root of all the sufferings of human beings. This great truth of life prompted Sj.Jena to establish some organisation to educate the children of working class people & thus took birth of GHVM society, an educational & charitable organisation. Initially starting with a residential school at Puri, now the society boasts of the ownership of chain of schools at various places apart from its premier product “The GHITM”.
